What would “Good Vibrations” sound like played by 1,000 musicians? This.

The Rockin’ 1000 is an Italian project that stages mass games–or, more specifically stadium-sized spectacles featuring at least 1,000 musicians all playing the same song. It’s a giant logistical challenge, but organizers continue to pull it off all over the world.

This video, recorded in Portugal features a rendition of the Beach Boys‘ “Good Vibrations.” Impressive work, given that this is just a complex song. (Via Sean)
