Amazing. The end of July is already here. What does Luminate has to say about Canadian CD and vinyl sales? And what about streaming?

  • CDs sold in Canada last week: 32,120 (Down 0.1% from last week.
  • Vinyl sales in Canada last week: 35,181 (Down 0.0% from last week)
  • CDs sold in Canada so far this year: 857,136 (Up 1.8% from a year ago. Sales on an annual basis continue to trend up.)
  • Vinyl sold in Canada this year: 1,013,102 (Up 7.1% from this time last year. We’ll hit a million next week.)

  Streaming numbers:

  • Songs streamed in Canada last week: 2,959,311,144 (Down 0.8% from this point last year)
  • Songs streamed in Canada so far this year: 86,309,254,462 (Up 3.1% from last year.)
