What’s It Like to Hear Live Music for the First Time? (This is Pretty Cool)

For all of her 41 years, Joanne Milne was deaf due to a condition called Usher Syndrome. Then in her middle 20s, she went blind. Recently, though, she was given cochlear implants which allowed her to hear for the first time.

One of her great dreams was to experience Glastonbury. And that’s where she was last weekend. It was, as you might expect, magical.
