When Lemmy Was a Video Game Star

Anyone else remember the time Lemmy from Motorhead appeared in a video game? Probably not, unless you had an Amiga system back in 1992. The goal was for you to help Lemmy rescue his kidnapped bandmates from some kind of evil cabal consisting of cowboys, Goths and rappers. Imagine if Super Mario had facial warts and didn’t take any shit at all. Weirdly, there is no Motorhead music in the game. But hey, it was 1992 and an 8-bit version of “Ace of Spades” probably wouldn’t have worked, anyway.

If that sort of thing floats your boat, Andrew points us to this list that features five more video games that feature famous musicians as characters.
