Ticket reseller Fanatix looked at over 250,000 Reddit posts from this year to determine which sort of music fan has the biggest potty mouth. Profanities were identified, logged, counted, and ranked. Again, these are the fans, not the artists.
Hip-hop fans are the saltiest. K-pop fans sound pretty polite.
Sorting through the numbers a little more, Death Grip’s fanbase swears the most, with a cuss factor of 9.74 out of ten.
When it comes to rock, System of a Down fans swear a lot (cuss factor of 9.38/10), followed by Tool (8.76/10), and Slipknot (8.66/10). All alt-rock fans scored 6.95/10 or less.
