White Stripes Rarities for Record Store Day

With the annual international Record Store Day coming up April 21, news of the special releases designed for the occasion is starting to come out.

Jack White, a big, big fan of vinyl, is having his Third Man label issue two White Stripes rarities.  The first, “Handsprings,” appeared as a split single wit the Dirtbombs that came with an issue of a magazine called Multiball.  The B-side, “Red Death at 6:14,” first appeared on a compilation entitled Sympathetic Sounds of Detroit and later ended up as a freebie in MOJO magazine.  Have a listen to both below.
