Before I direct you to the definitive list, let’s concede the top spot to the Beatles. The best anyone can tell (remember that they were around when counting record sales was, um, an inexact process), they’ve sold 178,000,000 records. However, below them, you run into some interesting numbers.

    I question the numbers in that article. They have Alanis Morrisette at 20.5 million, Jagged little pill sold 33 million units alone.
