Who wants to come with me to NYC for a rock’n’roll landmarks tour this spring? Booking deadline is TODAY!

Back in May 2018, I led a great group of people to London for a tour of the city’s rock landmarks, thanks to the people at Flight Centre. Everything went so well (the people in this first group are now all friends and hang out together) that we’re planning a second trip.

This time, we’re heading to New York City for a similar sort of thing. Here’s the formal part of the itinerary, but keep in mind that we’re all free to go out other and do our own things during our leisure time. (We did a lot of that in London. Plenty of side trips, pubs, clubs and bars.)

Thursday, May 23

  • 2 pm – Check in at Park Central Hotel
  • 6-9 pm – Greenwich Village music tour with street eats

Friday, May 24

  • 7-10 am – Breakfast at Park Central Hotel. Rest of morning at leisure
  • 2-5 pm – Birth of punk walking tour. Dinner at leisure
  • 12 m – Screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show

Saturday, May 25

  • 7-10 am – Breakfast at Park Central Hotel
  • 11 am-2 pm – Sonic Youth walking tour. Rest of afternoon at leisure
  • 7 pm-10 pm – Dead rock star tour

Sunday, May 26

  • 7-10 am – Breakfast at Park Central Hotel
  • 12 n – Checkout

Double Occupancy: $1650
Single Occupancy: $2210

Cost includes everything in the itinerary. Insurance and Flights are not included and can be purchased through Carolyn Menard at (416) 597-1881 or Carolyn.menard@flightcentre.ca.

We need at least ten people to make this happen. Why not make 2019 the year you do some rock’n’roll travelling? Who’s with me? Register here.

What if we’re a Canadian now living in NYC. Could we join in on some of the tours?
