Wikileaks Dude’s Next Release? A Single. As in a Song.

As Julian Assange whiles away the days locked in an Ecuadorian embassy fighting extradition by everyone, he’s turned to music.

Assange has made friends wtih Redidente, the frontman for Calle 13, a politically active band that has won a number of Latin Grammy awards.

Nothing has been recorded yet–well, as far as we know–but Redidente has has fans to tweet ideas for a collabortation using the the hashtag #JulianAssangeCalle13.  There’s also a Soundcloud page where you can contribute.
