The 2014 Brits were handed out on Wednesday night in London.  Here’s who won what.

  • British Male Solo Artist – David Bowie (He didn’t show; Kate Moss accepted the award on his behalf.)
  • British Female Solo Artist – Ellie Goulding (The award was presented by Prince.)
  • British Group – Arctic Monkeys (They beat One Direction.)
  • British Breakthrough Act – Bastille (I would have preferred London Grammar.)
  • British Single – “Waiting All Night” by Rudimental ft. Ella Eyre (Again, a loss for One Direction.)
  • British Album Of The Year – AM by Arctic Monkeys (They beat Bowie’s The Next Day.)
