With the iPhone 5 Being Introduced Today, Here are Some Songs About the BlackBerry

The poor nubbins at RIM.  Once on top of the world as suppliers to CrackBerry addicts, the tech world–along with a sizeable number of consumers–have turned thumbs-down on the once super-ubiquitous BlackBerry as the iPhone and ever-improving Android phones have taken away market share.

At least in the First World, that is.  There are still plenty of areas of the developing world where the BlackBerry is still king:  Indonesia, India, areas of the Middle East, Africa, Latin America–and Haiti.

Over the last few months, at least three hit songs have emerged extolling the country’s love affair with the devices and BBM.  Here’s one.

Other odes to the BlackBerry to come out of Haiti include “Map Chat” and “BBM.”
