Yes, AC/DC Used a Teleprompter for Lyrics During the Grammys. So What?

Anyone at the Staples Centre would have seen it: a Teleprompter scrolling the lyrics to AC/DC’s single, “Rock or Bust.” Scandalous, right?

ACDC - Teleprompter

Hardly. All kinds of acts use Teleprompters onstage as a fallback. When you’re onstage in front of tens of thousands of people, you can lose yourself in the moment. Even the best of the best forget where they are in a song from time to time, much to their embarrassment. You’ve probably seen it happen yourself.  Teleprompters are like stage whispers. When you have a brain fart, it’s there to give you a line.

The next time you go to a show, watch for evidence of hidden screens.
