I’ve never understood Donald Trump’s fascination with “YMCA” by The Village People. For someone so homophobic, transphobic, and any-anything that isn’t straight white Republican male, he sure loves doing his double jerk-off dance to what’s been called the “gay national anthem.”

The Village People originally asked him to stop using the song back in 2020, but when they realized that it was making them money, they relented.

The song hit number one on Billboard’s Top Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales chart in 2024. Trump takes credit for its success. He’s not wrong.

By the way, Melania hates the double jerk-off dance. Trump is, of course, oblivious.
