Arcade Fire’s Win Butler Has Something to Say About Donald Trump Referring to Haiti as a “Shithole Country”

Win Butler, along with his wife and bandmate, Regine Chassange, the descendant of Haitian immigrants, has something to say about Donald Trump including Haiti on his list of “shithole countries.”

Win, Regine and the rest of the band are deeply involved in with the people of Haiti, having initiated and participated in a long list of humanitarian missions. Much of the group’s Reflektor album bears a Haitian influence.

Naturally, Win has an opinion on the President’s comments.

If you want to feel sad for the human race, read some of the comments to Win’s tweet.

On second thought, don’t. Best not give these people any attention.

  • Good for Win Butler and his wife. Arcade Fire is a group that really puts their money where their mouth is, and have donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to Haitian relief. Too bad that so many people still can’t see what an absolute pompous ass that Donald Trump is.
