Billy Talent’s upcoming tour will benefit food banks across Canada
Billy Talent’s cross-Canada tour begins April 1. At every stop, they will donate a portion of ticket sales to a local food bank. And if you have tickets to any of the shows, the band is asking that you bring a non-perishable food item.
Aaron Solowoniuk, the band’s drummer, is still sidelined dealing with MS so he won’t be able to perform. Instead, he’s heading up the group’s charity work. Here’s a quote from him: “We want to use our tour to help people in every city we play in. Food Banks across Canada are critical in helping to address hunger but they have been impacted significantly during the last two years of the pandemic. We are asking our fans who are attending our shows to bring a non-perishable food item so we can help people in the community. Additionally, we’ll be donating a portion of every ticket to the local food bank in each tour city. Together with our fans, we will be able to help so many people.”
