As the Canadian recorded music industry inches towards the end of the first quarter, here’s a report card on how things are going with both sales and streaming.

Total album sales, -7.0%
CD sales, +8.0%
Digital albums, -19.5%
Digital tracks, -20.6%
Vinyl LPs, -4.1%
On-demand audio streams, +13.4%

Week-over-week numbers

Total album sales, -5.4%
CD sales, -10.7%
Digital albums, -4.8%
Digital tracks, -1.5%
Vinyl LPs, +6.3%
On-demand audio streams, -3.0% (2.205 billion streams in the country last week)
