CRX (The Strokes Side-project) Makes TV Debut

CRX is a project from The Strokes lead guitar player Nick Valesi. They made their television debut on Jimmy Kimmel. He recorded the new album with a very familiar name.

After hitting the studio with QOTSA’s Josh Homme to record an album called New Skin, Valensi hyped the forthcoming release with a visit to Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Tuesday night. He and his new bandmates performed “Ways to Fake It”, and you can catch the replay above.

New Skin arrives October 28th through Columbia and have mapped out an extensive tour in support.

There’s some clear Strokes essence, no? I guess we can call that a “duh!”.
