Dave Grohl is in Toronto hanging with the guys from Rush to prep for London

Dave has been tight with Geddy and Alex (and, once upon a time, Neil) for years. This week, Dave was in Toronto hanging with Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson at Barberian’s, an old-school steakhouse on Elm Street known for its extensive wine cellar. With them was drummer Omar Hakim.

Okay, so why? To rehearse for the first Taylor Hawkins tribute concert in London next weekend. Wouldn’t you love to be able to hang around that rehearsal space for a bit?

  • The wine cellar didn’t stand a chance! Great pic. Can’t wait to hear Omar playing with Dave.

I was in “The Cellar” at Barberians last month….ran into Getty at the bar on new years eve about 10 years ago….it was early and was just me and him….I was at the bar and he was picking up take out…..5 minutes we small talked….he is a great guy….and as luck would have it my Blackberry camera wasn’t working…..so you just have to take my word for it….Kevin the Manager will attest to it!!
