Dexy’s Midnight Runners to Record Again

For just about everyone in North America, Dexy’s Midnight Runners will forever be a one-hit-wonder thanks to “Come On Eileen” in 1982.  But in Britain and elsewhere, they had several other singles extending into as far as 1986.

Then they broke up only to reform–well, kind of–for the reunion circuit in 2003.  Now they’ve decided to record together for the first time in 27 years.  There’s no title for their fourth album yet, but they have posted a two minute snippet of the first single.

And you know something, it’s not bad.  Wait out the quiet bit at the beginning.  You’ll see.
