End of the Century: The Story of the Ramones is coming back to theatres

More than 20 years since its original release, the documentary End of the Century: The Story of the Ramones is coming back to theatres to mark 50 years since the release of their debut album on April 23, 1976. Naturally, the 2003 film has been properly upscaled to 4K.

If you haven’t seen it, damn, it’s good. And it’s anything but a hagiography. It shows the band, warts and all, creating a very accurate portrait of what things were like for The Ramones, both from the outside and the inside.

Here’s a trailer.
