In the mood for some eccentric British musical surrealism? Try The Eccentronic Research Council who will soon release Johnny Rocket, Narcissist & Music Machine…I’m Your Biggest Fan. It’s the story about a fake band called Moonlandingz whose singer is being stalked by an obsessive fan.  If you like what you hear, try their debut record, 1612 Underture, a 12-part “sound poem” based on the Pendle witch trials of that year which also somehow involves the interaction of two male apes who happen to be roommates in a nice little house. Just go with it.
