  • We're getting old, Alan. After about 30 years of being cultural tastemakers, Generation X is now becoming irrelevant and a lot of our musical heroes are being greeted with a shrug after even just a few years out of the spotlight.

  • My suggestion to these kids, listen to the instrumental second half of "I Am The Resurrection" and they'll be acquainted with who the Stone Roses are very quickly.

  • It's sad, really. I'm close in age to most of these clueless music fans yet, I knew of the Stone Roses years before I ever heard their music. That is how important a band they are. It just shows that most "hipsters" are selective music fans that don't acknowledge or appreciate the past. I actually have you to thank, Alan, for getting me into the Stone Roses through an Ongoing History show you did on this amazing band several years ago.

  • Speaking of "kids these days," the band Kids These Days is one you gotta see. I saw them live a few weeks ago, and I can guarantee you won't leave their show disappointed.
