KISS played a concert for eight fans and a bunch of great white sharks (that didn’t show up)

Here’s what happened:

  • Three members of KISS got on a boat in Australia (Paul Stanley didn’t make it; he was ill)
  • They were joined by eight fans.
  • They sailed off the coast of Port Lincoln in South Australia to a spot where great white sharks gather.
  • They played a gig. In full makeup.
  • The plan was to use the “low frequency sounds of rock’n’roll” to attract sharks so people in a nearby glass bottom boat could watch them.
  • No sharks showed up.
