Lamb of God Singer Arrested on Manslaughter Charges

Wait!  Before you just to any kind of assumption, read on.

Back on May 24, 2010, there was an incident at a LoG show in Prague.  The story goes that a fan (A man? A woman?  We don’t know.) somehow got onstage and got into some kind of altercation with frontman Randy Blythe.  That person later died of…well, we think it was due to the injuries sustained during whatever happened.

Blythe was picked up by the cops just before they were supposed to play a show this week.   Needless to say, the gig was cancelled.

The charge is manslaughter–or, as the Czech authorities say “We have arrested the singer and charged him with the crime of bodily harm of 4th degree and resulting in the death of the fan.”

Lamb of God’s people and their record company maintain that Blythe has been wrongfull accused and everything will be sorted out.
