Looking for a Different Sort of Metal? Try Fallstaf

It’s, um, brass metal.  What else would you call the music made by a band with a masked trombone player in the line-up?  It sure isn’t ska and no one will mistake this for jazz.

Fallstaf (note the spelling; if you Google “Falstaff,” you’ll end up with a lesson in Shakespeare), is a five-piece band from Montreal who are, well, different.  Their new album is Bastard Sons of a Pure Breed.
