Man who had sex on a ferris wheel at a music festival pleads guilty

Innes Miller went to UK’s Download Festival this summer. In addition to enjoying the music, he went for a ferris wheel ride with a woman that he’d met early in the day. While going round and round, they had sex in full view of people on the ground.

Naturally, people whipped out their cameras and the clips went viral. Innes didn’t realized he’d become an internet star when his boss called. “Dude, you’re all over the internet,” he said.

With the help of witness, Leicestershire Police launched a search for Innes. It didn’t take long for them to find the horny couple. The woman–who is not named–cooperated with cops and was not prosecuted. Innes, on the other hand, pleaded guilty and was fined £80, plus £85 costs and a £32 victim surcharge.

His lawyer said this: “Most people found it amusing – and a lot of them were clapping – there was no sinister intent to outrage public decency…It ended up with him being viral and all over the national newspapers and TikTok. That in itself is punishment enough for what happened that day.”
