Metallica announces a drive-in concert with Three Days Grace

Hey, everybody is doing it so why can’t they?

Metallica will be part of the Encore Drive-In Nights concert series, which will make them the first non-country act to participate. The gig is set for August 29 with tickets going on sale August 12 through Metallica’s Fifth Member fan Club. The general public will be able to buy tickets on August 14. Every ticket will include four digital downloads of Metallica’s S&M2 album. Openers will be Three Days Grace.

The cost will be $115 per car–and you can have six people per vehicle. And there will be plenty of Canadian sites participating. Check out the map here.
