My fall speaking tour continues TONIGHT. Last one of the year. Here’s the venue.
This fall, I’m once again hitting the road on a series of speaking gigs at small venues, unique spots, and private homes. I call these events “salons” because they aren’t formal presentations. Instead, they’re an interactive back-and-forth discussion about music and the things that music fans want to know about.
Events usually run about two hours and feature plenty of stories, insider observations, and discussion about about various musical passions. Audiences tend to really get into the spirit of things.
The people helping to put this together is Side Door Access, a Halifax-based company run by singer-songwriter Dan Mangan. Normally, they book extra gigs for bands between shows, but the speaking thing has turned out so well that we’re doing it again.
