New Stone Temple Pilots! With the New Singer!

The Stone Temple Pilots have just released their first single with their new singer. This came out around 7 am EST this morning–and it’s pretty damn good. The STP sound is definitely there.

The new singer is (as rumoured) Jeff Gutt, a former X Factor star and one-time member of a nu-metal band called Dry Cell. He’s 41 and from Michigan. His identity was unveiled at a show in LA last night.

    I like it. I know it’s only one song, and Scott was an irreplaceable talent. But Jeff’s voice sounds like a good fit. Let’s hope STP continue’s to provide great music!
