If you’ve never heard of the Remix Project, they are a fantastic program and created to help young people from disadvantaged, marginalized, and under served communities. Remix serves youth wanting to enter creative industries or further their formal education. With top-notch alternative, creative, educational programs, facilitators, and facilities, Remix’s mission is to help refine the raw talents of youth. They aim to help young people find success on their own terms as they define it. The Remix Project has acted as an incubator for some of todays top creative talent such as Jessie Reyez, Future the Prince, Ebony “Wondagurl” Oshunrinde, and Drake, who is a major supporter of Remix. They have housed in-studio conversations with people of impact, collaborated with like-minded charities, and produced albums and projects for globally recognized artists.
A passion project close to the hearts of everyone on the Remix team, their purpose-driven vision has come to fruition after years of hard work. The ribbon cutting will be at 10am.
