Some people who were born deaf have been have been introduced to the universe of sound with the use of cochlear implants.  But what does it actually like to experience sound with one of these devices?  Take a look.

  • My neighbour just got an implant and we’re able to have conversations now for the first time since she moved in. She’s still adjusting and we talk a lot about her experience with hearing loss and this “new kind of hearing” with her implant. This video gave me a much better understanding of what that means. Thank you.
