Still Looking to Hire Your Favourite Band for a Party? Here’s How Much It Will Cost

A couple of weeks ago, a list of live performances fees for various artists made the rounds and was soon pilloried for not being accurate.  Business Insider has taken up the challenge of publishing a more correct version of this price list.  Let’s start at the top, shall we?

$1,000,000 to $1,499,999

  • Aerosmith
  • Andrea Bocelli
  • Arcade Fire
  • Billy Joel
  • Blake Shelton
  • Bruno Mars
  • Elton John
  • Englebert Humperdinck
  • Jay Z
  • Miley Cyrus
  • Nickelback
  • Pink
  • Ricky Martin
  • Rod Stewart
  • Rolling Stonees
  • Shakira
  • Black Keys
  • Usher
  • Van Morrisson

If you’re a little short this week, Adele would consider your gig for around a million.  Bob Seger would do it for less than $750,000.  It even says that the Foo Fighters will show for less than $350,000–which I find EXTREMELY hard to believe.

Still too rich?  Well, for under $30,000, you could get Dee Snider of Twisted Sister.  And if that’s still too much, Urge Overkill will play your party for under $20K.
