The Recommendation Project – Update 1

A couple of days ago, I started an experiment using Rdio.  I wanted to see how well an open public playlist could be crowdsourced.

The theme of this playlist was “the song that has grabbed you the most so far this summer.”  And I gotta say that it worked quite well.  Out of the 21 songs on the playlist, the vast majority of them were brand new to me–and, I expect, to other contributors/followers as well.

It’s time to move on to Part 2, but I’ll leave Part 1 open to anyone who still wants to contribute.

(By the way, I’m not shilling for Rdio.  I have a normal, everyday subscription.  I could have chosen any other music service but I like this one the best.  So far.)
