Woman’s First Words After Emerging from Five Year Coma: “I Want to Go to a Bob Seger Concert”
Back in 2006, 74 year-old Evie Bryant suffered a stroke that left her in a semi-coma. She couldn’t speak, move or eat on her own and was moved to a long-term personal care home.
But she got better and the coma broke on May 7, 2011. Her first words were “I want to go to a Bob Seger concert.” And she did. The story here. (Another find by John.)
