Woman’s First Words After Emerging from Five Year Coma: “I Want to Go to a Bob Seger Concert”

Back in 2006, 74 year-old Evie Bryant suffered a stroke that left her in a semi-coma.  She couldn’t speak, move or eat on her own and was moved to a long-term personal care home.

But she got better and the coma broke on May 7, 2011.  Her first words were “I want to go to a Bob Seger concert.”  And she did.  The story here.  (Another find by John.)
