Digital Music News published this chart of vinyl sales over the last 20 years. But even if the US reaches the projected 5.8 million units this year, it’s still a tiny, tiny fraction of the overall music market. Still, it’s nice to see growth, innit?
…and digital album sales, purchased downloaded music and CDs, are down as people are starting to move toward a streaming delivery model.
