You can now give your Alexa device an AI music skill

Splash is an Australian company working on the possibilities of artificial intelligence. Among its latest AI offerings is a free Amazon Alexa skill called Splash. It will conjure up a song based on a verbal description of what you’re looking for. It’s a new variation on Splash’s text-to-music powers, something that it launched back in June.

For example, say “Alexa, create me a song for a rainy day.” Another example: “Alexa, write a birthday song for Dad. His name is Bill and he’s turning 65.” Poof. Done. Totally personalized.

You can also add vocals (singing or rapping) by a variety of AI voices. And if you want to share the creation, you can have a link sent to your phone.
