ABC Plans Radio-Theme Sitcom with Jimmy Kimmel and Carson Daily

It’s been a long time since there was a good radio-themed sitcom. Fraser would have been the last, I guess. Before that, we had Newsradio. And before that–well, probably WKRP, right? But now ABC is apparently signed Jimmy Kimmel (and old radio guy himself from KROQ) and Carson Daily (a current radio guy in LA and Kimmel’s old intern) to create a show based on “a once massively popular VJ who loses it all and is forced to move back in with his parents and take a job as host of a local radio ‘morning zoo.'”

Hmm. Sounds like Daily after MTV’s TRL died, don’t it?  More details at The Hollywood Reporter. (Thanks to Jack for heads-up.)
