An Animated What-If? The Wu-Tang/Bill Murray Shaolin Caper

A couple of weeks ago, a wonderful hoax began circulating about the sale of Wu-Tang Clan’s one-copy-only Once Upon in the Shaolin CD to The Most Hated Man on the Internet™.  According to this fake source, the terms of the $2 million sale included a codicil that allowed for one attempt by Wu-Tang and, bizarrely, Bill Murray to steal back the album with no legal repercussions

Although completely fake, the concept was fascinating. How would such a caper unfold? Someone wrote up a script for a potential movie. Now we have an animated featurette created by director ProbCause using carefully sampled dialogue. It’s quite brilliant, actually.
