BABYMETAL gets an endorsement deal for chocolate. Sort of.

Back in 2014, the adorable moppets in BABYMETAL released their classic, “Gimme Chocolate.”

The savvy marketers in charge of the account for Van Houten, a big chocolate brand, realized that they needed to use BABYMETAL as a template for a campaign. So they did.

  • License BABYMETAL? What are you talking about? It had nothing to do with them. It’s a Japanese commercial, and has metal music in it. Oh, it must be BABYMETAL! You know how dumb everyone in the media sounds right now? Pretty dumb. The whole BM community is laughing at you all. We all see there is no relation at all.
