Brawl Erupts on an Airplane Over Music from a Boombox

When Spirit Airlines flight 141 left Baltimore for LA, it looked like it was going to another routine trans-continental flight. But then the music started.

Two female passengers, both allegedly very bevvied, began playing music rather loudly from a boombox, irritating other passengers. When asked to turn it down, they refused. Instead, they held it in the air and started waving it around. That’s when the fight started.

Naturally, there’s video.

Five women were arrested when the plane landed at LAX.

I’ve said it before: there’s nothing civil about civil aviation anymore–especially on low-cost US carriers.
