Too Busy Working at Spotify to Have Kids? Don’t Worry. The Company Will Pay to Freeze Your Eggs.

Parental leave has always been one of the most sought-after perks when it comes to benefits. Spotify, a company with roots in worker-friendly Sweden, offers one of the most awesome benefits packages we’ve ever seen. From Digital Music News.

According to the latest benefit list, all Spotify employees are eligible to receive 6 months of paid parental leave.  Once that period lapses, parents are given a month of flexible location benefits to ease the transition back.  And that goes for mothers and fathers, depending on who’s shouldering the care-taking responsibilities.

If you dig deeper, you’ll see what women are eligible for $10,000 in costs to freeze eggs for future use.

Given the competition for the best tech talent, they really can’t afford NOT to offer high salaries and great benefits packages. To attract and retain the best talent in an environment where there’s only so much of it go around, you gotta go above and beyond.

Read more here. And does your company offer benefits like these? Probably not. Sad.
