Coming soon: A TV show version of the novel/movie High Fidelity

Whenever the movie adaptation of Nick Hornby’s book appears on TV, by wife looks at me and says the same thing: “This isn’t a movie. It’s a documentary about living with you.” Truth dat.

Now Hulu is almost ready with a TV show based on those characters. Sort of. There’s a big gender switch

The ten-episode series will premiere February 14th will feature Zoe Kravitz (daughter of Lenny) in the role of Rob (John Cusack in the movie) but will otherwise remain true to the idea of exploring relationships set in the environment of a Brooklyn record store.

Here’s a trailer.
