Back in the day, when the record labels had more money than God, they splashed out for TV commercials like this. (Yeah, the costs were recoupable, but Ringo could afford it.) Check out this 1974 spot for Ringo’s Goodnight Vienna album, The narrator is someone named John Lennon.
