Dropkick Murphys Tour Bus Involved in Fatal Accident

Around 3am Sunday morning as the Dropkick Murphys were making their way from San Antonio to an airport in Dallas, something went terribly wrong.  Reports say a man ran onto the northbound lanes of the interstate right into the path of the bus. Twenty-three year-old Dalton Lane Clarke was killed instantly.

When the cops arrived, the conclusion was that this could have been  a suicide-by-bus situation. The man’s family say he was just trying to cross I35 and insist he was not suicidal in anyway.

With the bus too badly damaged to continue and with the driver understandably shaken up, the band had to cancel the next gig in Tulsa. Meanwhile, a fund has been set up to help out Clarke’s fiancee who is the mother of his son. As I write this, $26,000 has already been raised.
