Ed the Sock’s NewMusicNation video portal is off to a good start

Back on Canada Day (July 1 for you people outside the country), MuchMusic’s former favourite but of hosiery, launched NewMusicNation, a music video site. Focusing on independent Canadian music, the site has had over 100,000 views since its debut. And video submissions keep coming in with more than a thousand so far. And according to industry fans who use the site, say it’s “one of the most important musical discovery tools of 2021.”

Shows include Yo Canada, VideoFlow, Metal Momentum, Rapsody, Punk Projekt and NerdMusicNation. Read more here.
