First, there was Nokia’s once-ubiquitous ringtone. Now the ‘tone I hear the most is iPhone’s marimba warble, a sound that for whatever reason elicits the same reaction as nails on a chalkboard. Now, though, there’s a remix by composer Steve Reich that makes things a little more palatable.
