Here’s another example of the AI slop that’s killing the internet

“The internet is dead,” a friend of mine said to me last year. “It’s all over. It’s nothing but bots and AI slop and subscriptions and evil algorithms and surveillance now. Everything has been enshittified.”

He’s right. The old internet–those of us who remember from the late 90s through to the early 2010s–don’t recognize what it’s become. And it’s just getting worse.
