Jennifer Finch of L7 has been diagnosed with “aggressive” brain cancer.

Oh, no. Not another one!

Jennfier Finch, bass player for L7, is going to miss the band’s farewell tour because she’s been diagnosed with an aggressive form of brain cancer. It was diagnosed some time ago, but the cancer has progressed much more quickly than doctors expected.

At first, treatment was limited to radiation and chemo, with the hope that it would do the trick. It did not, and she required multiple surgeries. Jennifer now has “significant physical limitations.” She now needs a lot of specialized medicine, rehab, and all manner of professional care at home.

Naturally, this being America, there’s grave concern about the cost of Jennifer’s care. A GoFundMe campaign has been launched.

The band will go ahead with their farewell tour with Jennifer’s insistence. Her place will be taken by Tsuzmi Okai, who once had a gig touring for Limp Bizkit.
