Kanye West is now accepting admissions for his school
Principal Kanye? Headmaster Kanye? Dean Kanye? We’re not sure. We do know the following about The Donda Academy:
- It’s named after his mother.
- Its aim is to find “the intersection between faith and innovation of the future.”
- It also wants to be “focused on equipping students with an education that will last in the ever-changing world.”
Uh-huh. And?
That’s about it. Although the website will happily enroll you, there’s no mention of faculty or a curriculum. We don’t know what entrance qualifications are, how old one must be to enroll, or even where the damn school is.
It could be that the school will (one day) be on a plot of land in Simi Valley outside of LA. That’s where you’ll find the now-closed Simi Valley Stoneridge Preparatory School, which already had “classrooms, labs, offices, kitchen, restrooms, storage, a basketball court, and an open field.”
But by all means, sign up. There’s not much to it. See?
Okay. So, there is no real school? What happened? Why isn’t the school up, and running? Why isn’t Kanye West running this school?
