Kanye West is now accepting admissions for his school

Principal Kanye? Headmaster Kanye? Dean Kanye? We’re not sure. We do know the following about The Donda Academy:

  • It’s named after his mother.
  • Its aim is to find “the intersection between faith and innovation of the future.”
  • It also wants to be “focused on equipping students with an education that will last in the ever-changing world.”

Uh-huh. And?

That’s about it. Although the website will happily enroll you, there’s no mention of faculty or a curriculum. We don’t know what entrance qualifications are, how old one must be to enroll, or even where the damn school is.

It could be that the school will (one day) be on a plot of land in Simi Valley outside of LA. That’s where you’ll find the now-closed Simi Valley Stoneridge Preparatory School, which already had “classrooms, labs, offices, kitchen, restrooms, storage, a basketball court, and an open field.”

But by all means, sign up. There’s not much to it. See?

  • Okay. So, there is no real school? What happened? Why isn’t the school up, and running? Why isn’t Kanye West running this school?
