I like this: Midnight Shine

If you think you have trouble getting everyone in your band together rehearse, think what the guys in Midnight Shine have to do. The members are scattered over remote parts of Northern Ontario near James Bay.

The band is ready to release their third album, High Road, on February 23. John-Angus McDonald of The Trews produced seven songs for the record with Tim Vesley of the Rheostatics taking care of the other two.

To prep everyone for the album is this version of Neil Young’s “Heart of Gold” with Chris Gormley of Big Sugar on Drums.
